MMLISI's Securities Brokerage Department serves the specialized needs of clients who want to buy and sell general securities on a limited basis. It also provides representatives with an alternate method of accessing basic products and incorporating them into a consolidated client statement.

Through Securities Brokerage, you can gain access to stocks, bonds and mutual funds and integrated brokerage services such as securities trading, brokerage and technology outside of MMLISI's proprietary platform. Securities Brokerage is divided into four transactional areas:

New Accounts - This team will establish your brokerage accounts and handle monetary deposits and distributions. This team also deposits all securities certificates.

Asset Gathering - This team helps you gather assets via transfers from other broker-dealers. They will also provide you with complete, integrated Transfer of Asset solutions and pro-actively resolve Not In Good Order (NIGO) transfers.

Trading - This team facilitates trading in brokerage accounts via both phone and online. They also perform compliance functions such as account activity review on a regular basis.

Treasury - This team handles monetary movement including check deposits, disbursements, and IRA one time distributions.

As a representative conducting business through our Securities Brokerage platform, we have the following tools and services established to help you manage your clients' accounts.

Representative Services - This team handles the general servicing of brokerage accounts, including IRA distributions, corporate reorganizations, and restricted stock and equity dividend reinvestment programs.

Streetscape - Streetscape is a robust, high-performance web-based application for investment professionals - which through a powerful and easy to use interface - provides trading and account information along with a variety of investment related information. With online reporting, presentation of account transfer statuses and one-time IRA distributions, Streetscape enhances your ability to serve your customers. Client access to view their accounts is provided through MyStreetscape.

Securities Brokerage collaborates with National Financial Services, Inc. (NFS) as its clearinghouse to provide many of these integrated brokerage services.
